Straight to the point and straight to edit window. When I first opened da vinci all the tabs were super confusing and adds to the learning curve. Thanks for cutting through all the windows and starting the project right there in the edit.

Thank you for sharing the video, I can't find the features on the desktop (using browser version didn't download the software), do you think it's because of using browser version or do I need to pay to upgrade to pro to see features? I appreciate if you could help.

Thank you for this Ben. I was able to relive a vacation and some other special moments like my daughter's 5th grade _'graduation'_ too. I hope maybe x5 is two Insta360s mashed together and is able to record stereoscopic videos in 360 degrees. If that becomes a thing, I would then record 100% of all videos using that device. Everything else would just be inferior.

I think the fundemtal differences between Resolve and apps like Capcut is the intended goal these apps are built upon. Resolve is not social media centric.

I think of apps like Capcut like the PowerPoint of NLEs. It's at times so user-friendly that it gets in its own way.

Oh, you'll be frequenting Premiere Pro the second you do a large quanity of paid client work. Customer's always right, and all that gibberish. Or you're in a situation where the studio you work for purchased an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. (Against your recommendations, eh hem) I know, I know, I don't like that hard reality either. I, too, wish I could totally toss Premiere in the bin, but it sticks to one like a thorn. I have used Premiere Pro since V1 and counting. Yes, this dates me, get over it. For my personal projects, I migrated to Resolve in 2017 and haven't looked back. A very competent and capable tool for Pros and everyone else. Very optimized, especially if you own any BMD hardware/cameras.

CapCut must have done away with the AI generation. I bought the Pro version just a little while ago and the tab Ai generated is not there. I downloaded the desktop version. Mine doesn’t even show media.

Just a correction, there is a kit out now to replace the lens yourself but this will void your warranty.

Awesome, now, when it comes to displaying gps data overlays, do I have to record my route on a separate device like a Garmin gps device like a watch, bike gps & import the FIT or GPX file to sync with Insta 360 clips in the studio editor or the Insta 360 x4 already has that & I can just record my video & it will display where I was, how fast I was going, elevation & those other good stuff when I tell him to?

I find it takes hours to export 10 minute videos in 1080p from Capcut. My laptop is 12 years old though so maybe that’s why

Sorry, but you are obviously talking to advanced users and it is not very good for beginners. You make no sense in so many of the things you are trying to explain.

Thanks for this information. I’ve been using ClipChamp by MS on all my vids, easy and quick to use but limited features.

You forguet only one and essential point, it's image quality. You can not compare 360 with DSLR 24/36, and Matterport.

I think its similar to what you taught, but are AI virtual photos a little different in terms of orientation and or other light and positional settings? Also what is Embedly and how is it different from embed html?

When exporting a project I get the message Export task interrupted due to rejected request. Any ideas on what request is at issue?

I'm on the market for a new 360 cam and am torn between the RS 1" and the Theta X. I primarily do Matterport tours with the occasional Zillow. It also seems like the RS 1" is being discontinued... (any word on that?) Which would be best to go with?

Bro, you got scammed oculus quest two has the same hand tracking

very difficult to do with complex long videos. If you move your main video up and put the background in the 'cover' timeline all the other overlays, effects get messed up. The main video needs to stay in 'cover' otherwise very difficult to edit. Its too bad there isnt an easier option without having to move the main video up to a secondary timeline.

Great tutorial! Concerning download of videos, my mobile device only has 128 GB storage, which is practically full. Is there any way to download videos directly to external SD card on the device? My device is Android
